Postgraduates are invited to apply for the Europaeum Winter School ‘Scandal and Corruption,’ held in Vienna from 27–29 January. Accommodation, board, and reasonable travel costs are covered for selected participants.

The programme explores how scandal and corruption shape political and economic power—from early patronage systems to today’s global finance and regulatory capture. Participants will examine how misconduct evolves, how scandals prompt reform, and how political economies enable or constrain corruption.

Applications are open until 18 October for those wishing to join discussions or present a paper.

St Andrews is part of the Europaeum network of 18 leading European universities.
