Participants Wanted: Roll for Initiative!
This study is being conducted as part of my, Jess McGowan’s PhD Thesis in the School of Computer Science at the University of St Andrews.
We invite you to participate in a research project investigating how character creation methods in tabletop role-playing games (TTRPGs) can be used to design a framework for the creation of personas in human computer interaction (HCI).
You will be participating in a session designed around creating a character in a TTRPG system, which will be a commercially available system. These sessions may take between 2-3 hours, depending on the number of participants, as well as the group’s familiarity with the system being evaluated, and the chosen TTRPG. You do not need to have any previous experience with TTRPGs to participate.
