Participants Wanted: Cognitive Processing in Motion (receive £25)
What happens to your memory and attention when you are moving through space? Does motion affect cognitive performance?
We invite you to participate in a study about the effects of motion on cognition, conducted in Professor David I Donaldson’s lab in the School of Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of St Andrews. You will receive £25 as compensation for your time.

About the study
During your 3-hour session, you will…
- complete memory and attention tasks while still, walking, or pushed in a wheelchair at walking pace
- wear a mobile electroencephalography (EEG) cap to record your electrical brain activity
- wear an accelerometer to measure your speed
