JSPS Japan Postdoctoral Fellowship (18 March)

The JSPS Postdoctoral STEM Fellowship offers UK‑based researchers in STEM fields the chance to undertake 12–24 months of collaborative research in Japan between September and November 2026. Applicants must reside in the UK and have completed their PhD, or have obtained it on or after 2 April 2020.

Eligible disciplines include natural and physical sciences such as biology, chemistry, engineering, mathematics and physics. Funding covers travel, monthly and settling‑in allowances, insurance, and potential research support.
