Participants Wanted: Study on Non-Disclosure in Therapy
Students and Staff are invited to take part in a psychology study exploring non-disclosure in therapy (i.e., times when clients choose not to share certain thoughts, feelings, or experiences with their therapist).
Participation involves completing an anonymous online survey, which will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. To be eligible, participants must:
- Be aged 18 or over
- Reside in the UK
- Have attended at least three therapy sessions within the last 12 months
As a thank you for taking part, participants may choose to enter a prize draw to win one of three £25 Amazon vouchers. Entry into the prize draw is optional and will be conducted via a separate link.
Your participation is entirely voluntary, and all responses will be kept confidential and anonymous.
This study has received ethical approval from the University of St Andrews (Application reference: PS-1013-1289-2025).
