Got an idea that could make the world more sustainable — or curious to explore the challenges shaping our future? Startup Factory is a fast-paced, hands-on sustainability hackathon for university and college students across Scotland — designed to turn big challenges into practical ideas with real-world impact.
The programme runs through a series of regional Startup Factory events, where students come together to explore environmental, social, and economic sustainability challenges. The strongest teams from each region will be invited to pitch at the Startup Factory National Final in Glasgow on 11 March.
You don’t need a startup idea to take part — just curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to collaborate.
Cash Prizes (per team):
1st – £1,500 | 2nd – £1,000 | 3rd – £500
and a place in the National Final in Glasgow on 11 March
RSVP now to join Startup Factory and help build Scotland’s sustainable future.
