PARTICIPANTS WANTED WHO ARE EXPERIENCING LOW MOOD

Project Title: The impact of autobiographical memory processing on low mood

This study is being conducted as part of my research in the School of Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of St Andrews.

We invite you to participate in a research project that is examining the impact of different types of memory processing on mood and styles of thinking. We are looking for participants between the ages of 18 and 60 who are currently experiencing low mood for at least one week. You will be asked to complete some self-report measures of current mood and styles of thinking at different points in the study. You will also be asked to complete a personality judgment task and retrieve a memory about being connected to others. You will also be asked to complete a verbal fluency task. It is possible that you might experience distress or have concerns when completing the mood measure or personality judgment task.

If you are interested, please get in contact using the details below. You will then be given a Participant Information Sheet that further details our research and have the opportunity to ask questions, before being asked whether you consent to participate.
