Europaeum Decolonising Europe’s Past Seminar (8 May)
The Europaeum invites postgradute students from member universities to apply for its ‘Decolonising Europe’s Past’ History and Classics Seminar, taking place at LMU Munich from 15-17 September 2026. Participants will explore how histories of empire, resistance, memory, and power shape contemporary Europe, and examine emerging research that challenges inherited narratives and methodologies. Through interdisciplinary workshops and discussion, the event will consider how decolonial approaches can inform policy, scholarship, and public engagement today.
Accommodation, subsistence, and reasonable travel costs are covered for selected students.
