Volunteers Needed for Online Psychology Study
Are you an adult (18-75) who experiences symptoms of anxiety or depression? We are looking for participants for a research study exploring how self-compassion might help people navigate social challenges.
What is the study about? We are investigating the relationships between:
• Attachment: How we form bonds with others.
• Self-compassion: How kind we are to ourselves during difficult times.
• Social problem-solving: How we handle conflicts or challenges.
Previous research suggests that anxiety and depression can make solving social problems more difficult. This study aims to understand if practicing self-compassion (both generally and in specific moments) can buffer this effect, potentially leading to more effective solutions.
What will I do? You will complete a series of online questionnaires asking about your mood, relationships, and how you would respond to hypothetical social problems. The study takes place entirely online.
Interested? If you are over 18 and interested in contributing to research that could help improve support for mental health, please click the link below to participate.
