LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITY – DIG DEEP KILIMANJARO ClIMB
Contact details below if you have any questions!
Following a strong year for the 2026 team, applications are NOW OPEN to become a student team leader for the 2027 Kilimanjaro Challenge in support of student-founded, award-winning water charity DigDeep.
Dig Deep is looking for someone enthusiastic, approachable and committed to recruiting and leading a team to take on the challenge in return for discounted travel. Apply here: https://www.digdeepchallenges.org/be-a-team-leader
Dig Deep work in Bomet County, Kenya, home to 1 million people and one of the most underserved and least resourced areas of the country. Here, 2 out of 3 people don’t have clean water, over half don’t have safe toilets and children don’t have access to basic hygiene education.
Through helping children and their families to realise their right to clean water, safe toilets and good hygiene, your support will save lives, improve education, empower women and girls and strengthen livelihoods.
What You’ll Do:
- Inspire: Spread the word about the challenge and the charity mission it supports by being an ambassador for Dig Deep.
- Recruit: Drive our tried and tested recruitment campaign, assembling a team of like-minded individuals to take on the climb with you.
- Support: With structured support from Dig Deep at every stage, guide your team through their fundraising and pre-trip preparations. Organise socials and team fundraising events to ensure a great pre-trip experience.
What You’ll Gain:
- The opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of thousands through your team’s fundraising
- Real-world, CV-boosting leadership experience
- Bespoke training and 1-1 coaching
- Strong examples for graduate job applications
- Discounted travel on an unforgettable expedition
