Participants wanted: reaction time study investigating signal delay and intensity
This study is being conducted as part of my, Elyse Edwards, research degree project in the School of Psychology & Neuroscience at the University of St Andrews.
We invite you to participate in a research project about how more than one sensory input affects reaction times. This study is investigating the effect of stimulus delay and intensity on reaction times to combined visual and audio stimulus. You will be asked to respond to audio and visual stimuli by pressing buttons whenever you detect the stimuli.
It will take place in Dr Thomas Otto’s lab in the School of Psychology and Neuroscience and will take approximately 2 hours to complete. You will receive £10 reward for your participation (£5/hour).
If you are interested, please get in contact using the details below, or sign up via the link. You will then be given a Participant Information Sheet that further details my research and have the opportunity to ask questions, before being asked whether you consent to participate (UTREC approval code PS18284).
