PARTICIPANTS WANTED
Attachment Insecurity, Relocation, and Toxic Romantic Relationships: Associations with Mental Health.
Natalja (Natasha) Repinskaja, School of Psychology and Neuroscience, University of St Andrews, invites UK-based adults (18+) who have been in at least one romantic relationship to take part in an anonymous online survey exploring how attachment styles, and experiences of relocation relate to relationships and mental health.
The survey includes questions about romantic relationship experiences, emotional wellbeing, and experiences of relocation. Some questions will refer to conflict, violence, abuse, or other potentially harmful or uncomfortable relationship experiences, which may be distressing for some participants. Participation does not require having experienced a toxic relationship. Those without such experiences will be asked to reflect on their most recent romantic relationship.
Some questions will ask you to recall your feelings during a difficult period within a past relationship.
If you are currently in an abusive relationship, please only take part if you are in a safe and private place. You may skip any questions or withdraw at any time before submission.
The survey takes approximately 15–20 minutes. Participation is voluntary, confidential, and anonymous. Participants may enter a £20 Amazon voucher prize draw via a separate, unlinked email form.
