[Innovation Week] EdenTay Founders Community: Games Night
Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM (Europe/London)
Parliament Hall, University of St Andrews
Join us for a special Innovation Week edition of the EdenTay Founders Community as we bring together students, founders and aspiring entrepreneurs from across St Andrews, Dundee and Abertay for an evening of games, pizza and great conversations.
Designed as a relaxed and informal networking event, Games Night is an opportunity to meet new people, strengthen existing connections and become part of the wider entrepreneurial community across the region. Whether you’re already working on a venture, exploring a new idea or simply interested in meeting like-minded people, this event offers a welcoming space to connect and unwind.
We’re delighted to welcome Carol Clark and Brian Baglow, two of Scotland’s most respected voices in the games industry.
Carol Clark is an experienced games industry leader with nearly two decades of experience delivering projects across Xbox, Playstation, PC and mobile platforms. Having worked with leading studios including Rare and TAG Games, she has helped deliver major titles, including BAFTA-winning games and now supports leadership, innovation and business growth across the sector.
Brian Baglow is a games industry strategist, founder of the Scottish Games Network and a former writer on the original Grand Theft Auto. With more than 30 years of experience in games, digital innovation and entrepreneurship, he has played a key role in shaping and championing Scotland’s gaming ecosystem.
Through a series of short talks, Carol and Brian will share their journeys, discuss the realities of building a career in one of the world’s most exciting creative industries and reflect on the opportunities and challenges facing the sector today.
Following the talks, the rest of the evening will be dedicated to networking, gaming and informal conversation. Attendees will have the opportunity to play games, enjoy pizza and chat with fellow students, founders, Carol, Brian and members of the Entrepreneurship Centre team in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
Whether you’re interested in gaming, entrepreneurship, innovation, creative industries or simply meeting new people, Games Night promises to be a fun and engaging way to spend an evening during Innovation Week.
