Beyond StArtups Live: The Idea Sprint
Wednesday 7 October | 1:00pm to 2:00pm | Online
Where do entrepreneurial ideas come from?
Join the University of St Andrews Entrepreneurship Centre for a live episode of Beyond StArtups, our podcast exploring the journeys of people who have embraced entrepreneurship, innovation and creativity in different ways.
This month’s episode, The Idea Sprint, features Adeel Shafi, Business Development Lead at Scottish Brain Sciences. Drawing on his experience across scientific research, healthcare innovation, university commercialisation and early-stage ventures, Adeel will discuss how entrepreneurial ideas emerge, what makes an opportunity worth pursuing, and the many ways people can engage with entrepreneurship beyond becoming a founder.
Whether you’re considering entering What’s The Big Idea?, interested in innovation and commercialisation, or simply looking for inspiration, this session will provide valuable insights into identifying problems, shaping ideas and creating real-world impact.
This event is hosted by the University of St Andrews Entrepreneurship Centre as part of our entrepreneurial skills and startup development pathway.
