Interested in doing something entrepreneurial but not sure where to begin?

Join the University of St Andrews Entrepreneurship Centre for Idea Sprint: Find Your Starting Point, an interactive workshop designed to help you uncover opportunities, develop early-stage ideas and explore where they could lead.

You don’t need to arrive with a fully formed business idea. Ideas can emerge from your interests, skills, experiences, research, observations or simply something you’ve always wanted to explore. Through a series of guided activities, participants will identify opportunities, make unexpected connections and begin developing practical next steps.

The workshop will help you:

  • discover different ways entrepreneurial ideas can emerge
  • explore your own interests, knowledge and experiences as sources of opportunity
  • identify problems, challenges and opportunities worth exploring
  • develop and shape early-stage ideas
  • understand who might benefit from an idea and why
  • leave with practical actions for taking your next step

Whether you’re a student, researcher or member of staff, this workshop is a great opportunity to start thinking more entrepreneurially and explore how your ideas, expertise and interests could create value.

No previous entrepreneurial experience is required. Whether you already have an idea you’re developing or are still searching for inspiration, Idea Sprint: Find Your Starting Point is designed to help you take the first step.

This event is hosted by the University of St Andrews Entrepreneurship Centre as part of our programme of entrepreneurial skills and startup development opportunities.
