Critical Arctic Studies webinars “Art/Place” (4 June, 1600)
The UArctic’s Critical Arctic Studies group will be hosting three webinars, exploring how artists and/or arts-based practitioners engage with Arctic places through diverse creative practices and perspectives. The series will begin with three artists working in/with/about Svalbard, followed by sessions focusing on Northern Finland and Greenland. Each webinar will feature brief presentations from the artists/practitioners, followed by a moderated conversation that draws out the complexities of place-based practice in the Arctic.
The first webinar is on Wednesday 4 June at 1600 BST.
