The Developing Irish Sea Cooperation (DISC) project is a two‑year PEACEPLUS‑funded initiative, managed by SEUPB, to create a strategy and action plan for cross‑border cooperation between Ireland, Northern Ireland, Wales, and Scotland.

The Scottish Government will host a DISC symposium in Edinburgh on 26 February, highlighting Scottish institutions linked to DISC’s three themes: the Sustainable Blue Economy, Innovation in Health and Life Sciences, and Communities and Culture.

The programme includes ministerial speeches, a presentation on DISC’s history and mid‑term evaluation, and three thematic workshops. The hybrid event offers in‑person and online participation. Register here: Developing Irish Sea Cooperation Project – Edinburgh Symposium on Eventbrite.
